Cheerleaders still delivers. When I lived in the Philly area this was a favorite of mine because it meets what I like in a club. I prefer down to earth blue collar places over pretentious clubs. I prefer natural and maybe flawed over living Barbies with implants. And I want friction instead of air dances.

On all counts, Cheerleaders still gives me what I like, so I give it a 9. You may not think the club deserves a 9 for decor, and neither do I. But I am not ranking on that basis. There are some fine loooking girls, but they are not in the majority and you're better off at maybe Delilah's if looks are your most important quality. I like a good grind, so the rating is good.

The beer may be more expensive now ($5 for a bottle of Yuengling) but the cover charge was reasonable at $6. Yes, the dancers still do the hassle of making the rounds at the bar looking for tips, but I even like that a little bit. It's as honest as the rest of the place.
