I used to go to the Silver Dollar quite a bit. I stopped in about a week ago to see how it still was, and not much has changed. This club likes to think of itself as the classiest of the Eugene/Springfield clubs and it probably is. What this means is that the girls are great, they're the best looking in the area (imo) and also the friendliest. You won't get hustled much here, the girls pretty much expect that if you want a dance, you'll ask them. It's usually pretty slow on weeknights and the girls are bored so you'll get plenty of attention, though.

The downside is that as the "classy" club, you don't get quite as much value. Cover is $3 on weeknights and $5 on weekends. Drinks are kinda steep. They have 25 cent beer specials on Mondays, but if that's all you drink, the girls WILL notice and will treat you accordingly. I've bought dances from about five different girls here and they'll touch you a little bit but it is absolutely NOT two-way. On the rare occasion where a girl allows it, you can bet that if any of the other girls notice, they'll snitch on her and that'll be the last time she ever does it. The bouncers and the bartenders keep a pretty close eye on the girls to make sure that everything here is legit. So, if you're looking for a place to just hang out and chill and have a few drinks and maybe talk to some of the girls, this is a great club, but if you're looking for anything in the realm of extras, there are better places in Eugene and Springfield to go. All depends on what you're in the mood for.

Last time I went was on a Thursday and there were about 10-15 girls working. Only two or three that I recognized from when I used to be something of a regular. Lots of turnover, but that's fairly normal. On that particular night, there were only three or four really great looking girls, but I know this club has more. The better looking girls with the good pole moves usually just work the weekends. The bouncers and bartenders are also pretty chill as long as you obey the rules, and if you go a few times and tip well, everyone will treat you pretty nice. Overall, I like this club as a hangout, but there's better "value" out there if you're looking to make every dollar count.
