This place gets a bad rap, but I think people are too hard on it. In fact, as Showcase gets slowly worse, I say Paper Moon gives Showcase a run for its money for best of DC (yeah, I know that's not saying that much). The main complaint is that it's pricey - $60 for 2 top on dances. Sure, Showcase will give you $2 top on dances for $40, but two topless dances at Showcase are the same price at $60. Top on and you can touch at the Moon, top off and you can't touch at Showcase...I'll take the touch every time. Now of course you can get two topless VIP dances (can touch) at Showcase for $80, which is a better deal...but that's even more expensive! With cheaper cover at Paper Moon, the prices are pretty comparable. The big knock on PM is that it's stupid, what if I want 1 dance or 3 dances? Showcase will let me but PM won't...why? I say PM has passed Showcase in dancer quality - more younger girls with fit bodies but still plenty of tits to work with. And I like that they wear sexy dresses when at Showcase they all seem to wear boring bathing suits. Contact is less than at Showcase but still pretty damn good. I don't know, I think they're both solid but comparable clubs. I plan to rotate them both depending on what I'm looking for that night.
