Going to a DV is like...

Going to a DV is like eating a burger at McDonalds--not the greatest, but they're consistent and you know what you'll get. BYOB status is a minus. Air dances are a minus, especially at $20.00 a pop (twofers aren't bad when they run them) but the bouncers keep a close watch on the VIP area so the limited contact is definitely one way. The night I was there, they ran a booty call session every hour or so where a bunch of the girls came up on stage, some clothed and some nude, and did a quick group show. That was just before they ran the twofers so you could get a decent look at whoever you were about to spend your money on. The girls were mostly next door types with a few stunners. On stage, the next door types looked like they were really into the dancing, either for themselves or for the audience, while most of the stunners danced like machines- good moves but no feeling. LD's came across the same way- the stunners would do a bit of grind but mostly air, no conversation and minimal eye contact, take your cash and walk away. The GND types were, at least this night, mostly college students (so they said) but would at least talk to you and smile while dancing. A bit better contact from the GND's but still mostly air and almost completely one way.

A word about the dance sessions- don't expect the session to run long (one song, one dance) because you know the music and know which songs last a LONG time. The staff knows how to edit their music. I know because I timed them (weird but what the hell). The single dances had songs that averaged about 2 1/2 minutes, plus or minus about ten seconds, while the twofer songs averaged two minutes each plus or minus ten seconds.

I'm not encouraging or discouraging anyone to go. If you're looking for some cute nude girls, this place is as good as any. If you're looking for extras, go elsewhere. At least at DV you know ahead of time what you're going to get.
