This club, located right on Washington...

This club, located right on Washington Avenue near the heart of the South Beach Art Deco district, suffers greatly from its ritzy location. First, the traffic over the causeway from Miami to get to the club and the traffic in South Beach itself was extremely busy on a Saturday night at 9 pm: what should have taken 10 minutes took 40 minutes. Second, the club overcharges for being on South Beach: the cover charge is $20 and parking is $15 at a nearby “cheap” municipal lot. Then a drink is $10 so you’re getting way over average at this point and you’ve just entered the club. Note that I would not mind the exorbitant prices if the girls were high quality but they are not. In fact, they are rather ugly, mostly ones, twos, and perhaps threes. There were two to three 7s to 8s but the rest were really poor. Also, while the club atmosphere is relatively upscale, including large screen tvs with slightly flawed reception, the place smells really skanky. The best dancers are mostly all Eastern European/Russian and there were few African Americans and Latinas. There are three stages, one large and two smaller, but I only ever saw dancers on the larger stage. There were about 20-30 dancers working and perhaps 30-40 customers when I went there on a Saturday night. The customers were rambunctious, screaming at the dancers like overgrown fraternity brothers, probably getting ready to hit the Miami club scene. While the private dances cost $25, beware that the dancers solicit you for a “tip” following the dance of $10. Basically, the dancers are nice until they realize you are not giving them any money (or any more money) and then they turn evil which is not uncommon.

In general, because of the low dancer quality, high price relative to other clubs, and very poor dancer attitude, I will not be returning. One good thing: the doormen and staff are nice. Also, you can always walk outside down Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue and find much more attractive and clean-cut women than inside this club.
