I went on Saturday night, October...
I went on Saturday night, October 2, 2011. I was there between 10:10 p.m. and 1:15 a.m. Upon arriving, I noticed the parking lot was nearly full (all of about 38 spaces) and a few cars parked on the street in front. No overflow beyond that. I've learned that even with the parking lot full, that's still not very many customers. Upon entering I asked my usual question of the door man, "How many dancers are on shift now?" I was told 21. That seemed like a good amount for this size of a club. Most of the parking must have been taken up by the dancers and other employees. There were only about an equivalent amount of customers and that was after 10 p.m.! That's about five tables worth of customers. The club can probably seat over 100. It appears this club is still sorely lacking in business. The amount of customers remained about the same over the three-hour period that I was there.
No further work has been accomplished on the club since my last trip there on September 4th. It's still rather plain in my opinion. The men's room remains unfinished, though the basic necessities are in place. Dancers and customers in the VIP booths can get a direct view of customers using the urinals when the men's room door opens. It also casts a bright light on the VIP area close to that point. In architecture and interior design, what is termed a "view block" is sorely needed in the men's room and at the front door. What little sun we get in Seattle blinds the door man/woman when the front door opens in bright daylight.
Of the 21 dancers there, I was very pleased with the selection. At least four of them I recognized. A fifth recognized me from when she worked at the now-closed Sugar's, (in nearby Shoreline, WA) but I didn't seem to recall her. I got a small amount of dances with three of the dancers that I already knew and the one who said she remembered me. Unfortunately, Merrilee was the manager that night, and she was patrolling the VIP carefully. She also knows how I like to enjoy myself in the VIP and has busted me for that a few times before, going back to the now-closed Honey's (Everett, WA) days. I try to plan my trips to Pandora's when I know she won't be there. It made one dancer nervous, I could tell. Most dancers were amenable to $20 dances, although it seems the club is trying to establish $30. as the standard dance price.
