I was in Pickering late Monday...

I was in Pickering late Monday evening and went to this club. I arrived about 11.30 pm. The parking lot which extends on three sides of the building was not busy at all. Walking through the front doors, I was greeted by the girl at the coat check/admissions: $3 to get in.

Walking in, there were about 6-8 customers in the club, and about 3 dancers visible including the one on stage. The two pool tables between the seated area and the bar were not being used. I got a domestic beer at the bar, which was regularly priced. They had baseball on a flat screen tv at the bar, and I could see the floor and stage. It was an uneventful time. Occasionally the DJ would ask 'everyone' to 'make some noise', which seemed pretty pointless. In between dancers, the DJ played 2-3 songs... which felt like pulling teeth. I gave it about 30-40 minutes, thinking the hot girls might be busy in the VIP. By the time I left, there were about 5-8 customers in the club, and only 2 dancers visible. One of them was on stage.

I would say the few dancers that I saw were average at best. If you've been to clubs in Toronto and Mississauga, you would probably think I'm being generous with that call. I would not recommend this club if youre looking to party with friends, or even in principle. There are clubs in the GTA (greater toronto area) that are much more interesting and happening and they do not charge a cover. This place was dry, and practically empty, and still charged cover. To me that gets a no-vote.
