The Paradise is probably my favorite...

The Paradise is probably my favorite club in the Lawrence area these days. Even on slow nights, they'll typically have at least a few pretty hot dancers (they seem to have attracted quite a few Missouri girls) and the place is almost always friendly and laid back. Always sports on the TV if you don't like the latest girl on stage, they have good drink specials most every day and the staff and dancers are almost uniformly nice and professional.

Of course, the big attraction here is the $10 full contact dances. That can be a bad thing if your favorite girl is tied up with some guy for hours on end because, at that burn rate, it takes him forever to go broke. On the other hand, if you hook up with the right girl at the right time, you can have a lot of fun here without dropping a lot of cash.

I will say there are no "10's" here but a quite a few 6-8's. This place used to hire a lot of sketchy chicks, some of whom had no business being on stage. Anymore, that is the exception and not the rule. Also, quite a nice variety most of the time. Most any night, there will be white, black and Asian women. Short, tall, skinny, curvy, young and not so young. You'll usually find it here.
