The Skybox may be slowly working its way back to respectability. I stopped in on a Friday night and there were a few girls working the room whom I wanted to buy dances from.

The dance prices are 2 for $25 or 5 for $50, and there is also a champagne room available. The dances are done in a separate room off the main floor, with several booths that had thin, see-through curtains on them. I went for a 2 for $25, and this dance was done on a bench outside the booths. It had decent grindage. I assume the booths are for the 5 for $50, although I did not partake. It's possible, inside of the booths, that you could get a little more handsy than I could in my 2 for $25 dance.

The main floor still has three stages, although only two were being used on the Friday night of my visit. Other than the addition of the booths in the dance area, this club has not been updated since it opened about 15 years ago, and it's starting to feel old and dated inside. In its heyday this was the place to go in the Chicago area, but that was many years ago, and this club will have to make changes to get back to that status. On the plus side, drinks are still cheap and they offer a bowl of free pretzels at every table.
