Pasty bar, got robbed. I'd not...
Pasty bar, got robbed. I'd not been there in 2 years, tried it again, meh. Nice decor, seems like a classy place, and nice but inattentive staff. The service, like the dancing, was awful -- waited 7 minutes standing at the front door for coat check -- which I definitely needed with motorcycle helmet and jacket. Then, I waited 20 minutes for a Diet Coke... more on this later. For a Friday night at 6pm, the place was freaking dead - 15 customers but only 4 girls, and they seemed to mostly sit with customers while 1 danced. Poorly. Without energy or passion, like they were automatons at Chuckie Cheese. No real pole work, sloppy dancing, got on stage late and left early, 3 dancers in a row. Uncomfortable booths to get into, they're U-shaped, but the tables are better. After sitting through 3 excruciating dances without service, went to bar and stood for 5 minutes trying to get a drink. OK, no luck, went to bathroom, decently clean but not stellar, returned to seat. Finally, got drink order in. A few more moderate dances later, a girl came and sat down, chatting me up for 10 minutes... very nice on the eyes and friendly, and quick to brush my bulge and promise breathlessly that in the VIP room she'd be nearly 100% naked and I could touch here all over, repeat, all over everywhere, and that I could even finger-f*** her p**sy. Well that didn't sound too bad, then she said they had a special, 20 minutes for $99 instead of $200, in a totally walled-off private VIP room without cameras and no bouncer visits. I should have remembered the Chris Rock song, Champagne Room. So, off to the VIP (still no drink), and it's walled off with lightly-smoked glass, and I'm looking at the bouncer 1/2 the time. While she subtly touched me periodically and did a pretty good lapdance and grind overall, it didn't live up to the sales pitch. Touching was limited. However, she did listen and pay attention to what I asked for, which was cool. After 4 songs (and only 12 minutes) she stopped, and asked if I wanted another 20 minutes. I asked if she was going to dance for the full 20 minutes, she said that had been 20 minutes, which was always 4 songs, that's how they time them, and then asked again if I wanted another 20 minutes. I saw that was going nowhere... arguing with a stripper over rates or times is a good way to have the bouncer visit you, and I think is best solved by not returning and by providing a frank review on tuscl. She certainly wasn't going to be friendly with me again after I called her out. So, paid her off, she asked for a tip, and I gave her $5... which she didn't deserve, but seemed offended anyway. Cry me a river, I was robbed, $105 for what was $60 of songs. So, returned to get jacket, and then the waitress came over with the Coke, and firmly asked for $5 payment for the tardy delivery of $.04 ice, $.06 syrup and $.02 carbonated water. I didn't give her attitude, she just was firm that she needed the $5 for the drink I'd ordered. OK, whatever, paid, then got jacket after waiting 2 more minutes, see ya. So, disappointing except for the excellent parking, location and decor. Then again, you can get those 3 things at Olive Garden.
