I hadn't been to Follies in...

I hadn't been to Follies in a while, so I decided to stop by for visit on a Saturday afternoon. Follies is located in a predominantly Hispanic area north of Atlanta, in a kind of working class suburban neighborhood that's safe enough in the afternoon and at night, as long as you keep your wits about you. They have a reasonably sized parking lot that is free if you get there early enough during weekdays, but there is mandatory valet parking for $5 later on in the day/night and often on weekends. There usually is no cover charge during the day. I got there pretty early, about 2:30 pm and there was already a pretty good crowd there. As mentioned in other reviews, the best seats for good mileage are at the high top tables along the wall, so you want to get there early to get one of those seats, because they fill up early and don't often open up once they are full.

As you enter the club, the main bar is directly in front of you, with 2 stages that kind of wrap around the bar. There are a couple of pool tables to the immediate left, and the main seating areas are to the right and left of the bar. The club itself is just all right, and is closer to the seedier clubs than to the real posh clubs. Music is typical strip club fare, and the DJ is usually not too obtrusive. Drink prices are typical for the Atlanta area with domestic beers in the $5-$6 range. There's lots of seating around the large main bar, but there's no dancing on top of the bar. Waitresses are usually very friendly.

I grabbed a seat at one of the high top tables along the right side wall, and got a beer from one of the passing waitresses. After I had settled in for a while, a dancer approached me for a $10/song table dance. I accepted and she started dancing the next song. Table dances are nude, and there was plenty of discrete hands on mileage. As long as you are somewhat discrete, most dancers allow touching of breasts and butt, and some will allow more. I had several dances from a number of the dancers working that afternoon, and then decided to go to the VIP with a tallish thin brunette with B cup boobs.
