I guess I'm a bit of a local because I live across the river in "prude-land" and DC is pretty much the only outlet for meeting dancers in the region short of driving up to Baltimore. I like Archie’s because the girls are attractive and friendly. The drinks are fairly expensive but I figure the club has to make a living some way and since they don’t charge a cover fee the bar is where they get you. On the upside while the girls appreciate the offer to buy them drinks I have never had a single one of them “push” drinks on me nor have any ever taken advantage of my generosity and left me with an outrageous tab. In addition to the very cute and friendly dancers the food at Archie’s is pretty darn good and since I am a lunch time visitor it is much more likely that I’ll be buying a sweet young lady a bite to eat than a bottle of champagne so good food is a definite plus.<p>

Physically the club is smallish and narrow with two stages where the girls dance for you. The configuration is not terrible but it is not optimal either. I usually take a seat against the wall near the main stage so I can watch the girls dance and easily slip up to the stage and tip them. It’s a full nude club but not raunchy. You won’t find the girls doing the splits and showing off their stiff little clits or juicy vaginas here. This is mostly erotic/seductive dancing with plenty of good eye contact and genuine appreciation for the tip you slip into their garter. After each dancer’s 3 song round they make the rounds greeting each patron in the hope of getting a “thank you” tip. Considering that the club is small this affords you the chance to tell the girl that you appreciate her and ask her to come sit for a spell if that is your desire.<p>

I usually tip a girl $20 for sitting with me and I’ll also make sure to visit her while she is on stage giving her some additional incentive to come and spend time with me after she has finished making her rounds. Add to that a drink or two and perhaps a small something to eat and I drop $60 ~ $100 a visit. One doesn’t have to spend that kind of money to visit the club and enjoy the attention of the girls if you choose to only tip them while on stage and when they make their rounds but I like the attention and always have a good conversation with the girls while I am there so I plan for the expense.<p>
