still free between six and nine the days you would expect...girls are generally young and (somewhat) shapely and read the crowd (lot of free-loading backbenchers) well so don't even pester most viewers for dances...they've put a little money into this joint since my last visit...BR which was a claustrophobic and smelly sore spot has been completely done over..with tile, copious urinals, new paint and lighting...more new tv's circle the perimeter so the phillies can be viewed with pleasure during the interminable sets the poor dancers endure (longer by two or three songs than any other venue)...that and the impossibly loud 'music'-i thought the crackling barside speaker was going to leap off the wall-are my perennial quibbles with this otherwise chill spot. 5/11 is custy appreciation day...free food and admish day and nite...mark your calendar...imbibe appropriately before landing as there's nary a drop of the devil's brew inside these friendly confines...
