Spearmint Rhino in Boise is a nicely appointed club with good seating, a bar and clean Gentlemens Club appearance. I stopped in on Friday evening about 8. The club was slower than I expected for a Friday, but 8 may be a little early in Boise ??? This is strictly a bikini club, but the private dance areas appeared to be comfortable and reasonably private, although I noticed a club guy continuously cruising the club with a clipboard keeping track of who was in the private rooms. Only two of the 10 or so girls approached to say hi - Jet and Martine. Both looked fun. I chatted with Martine for a few minutes before she did her set on stage. I went to the rail for her set and tipped for crotch headlock. I was expecting her to stop by afterward to see if I wanted a dance, but she went to the bar to chat with some friends. None of the girls here were aggressive about dances. The girls were cute - in the 5 to 8 range - but when they have to keep their clothes on it really takes more to keep me interested for stage dances. Martine had enough personality to pull it off, but most of the other girls didn't provide much for stage entertainment. It's difficult to rate clubs when you travel far and wide, but in the end I think one standard should apply to all clubs that have "strip" or Gentleman's" in their name, hence the low rating here. It's a nice place, just short in the nekkid girl category. Private dances may be ok, but I didn't try any. They advertised a XXX star guest appearance but I didn't hear or see anything about it on the inside. I also didn't hear any special dance offers (3 for $40) during the 1-1/2 hours I was there.
