This place was a little strange...

This place was a little strange – not in a bad way but just odd. It’s a small club from a different era, kind of like a titty-bar but not quite. First things first. Three dollar cover charge, friendly efficient staff, $4.25 for an imported beer. The club is one square room with the bar along the wall to your right as you come in. Fully lit (bright by strip club standards) with three stages but only the main stage, a T stage against the far wall was in use. About 10 or so dancers, 4-7 range and one dancer on stage at a time doing two song sets with the second one topless. The stages have tip boxes attached which seemed strange but were used about 50% of the time. The rest of the tipping was simply laid on stage. No interaction, definitely no touching or even much acknowledgement from the dancer. After each set the dancer would make what I assumed was a tip parade shaking everyone’s hand but few people offered up any tips either on stage or when the dancer came around. There are no LDs nor VIP so I don’t know how they make much money. Dancers do sit with (not on) customers but they definitely weren’t hustling drinks or anything else. If you like nostalgia, a more innocent SC, you may like this place but it’s not really my cup of tea.
