The last review of JJ's was...

The last review of JJ's was 2 years ago and I'd never been here so on my latest trip to Campbell River I had to check it out.

Upon entering it seemed like a typical BC peeler bar. 2 tiered stage in the middle of the floor, bar on the left wall, definitely been in business for a long time (read....needs some work) and.....wait.....is that a mechanical bull in the corner?!?! Yes, yes it is. I didn't ask.

Went to the bar to get a beer and was greeted with "Welcome to the Twilight Zone!" by the female bartender. Okay this place is going to be fun.

Order a draught....Cariboo's on special for $3.95. OKAY!!!

Sign behind the bar says "Private Dances now available. See the bartender". Another sign indicated that private dances are $40. Too rich for my blood given that I know they'll be standard BC, no touch, dances but who knows. Maybe I'm wrong. I didn't find out. Next trip.
