I visited Hollywood Showgirls for my mates buck's night in early December last year. I'd heard a lot about this club but never went until this night. Strip clubs aren't usually my thing (seriously) but I had a great time. The best man was able to pre-plan all the details beforehand and we had an awesome night. We arrived at the club just before 9pm because we had a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament function booking in a private area for three hours. We all chipped in and our entry was pre-paid, so upon arrival we were ushered inside quickly and escorted from the main reception by the manager to our private area. Our area was curtained off and left private just for our group to access. As we entered the function room we were greeted by four really nice looking (ok really HOT) girls who were to be our dealers and waitresses for the night. Two of the girls were dressed in sexy lingerie and seemed really friendly, the second pair were our topless waitresses. They showed us to our two poker tables that were set-up side by side in the room and all laid out with poker chips for each player. The set-up looked really professional and we were all impressed. The room we were in was a decent sized one as well. There was a small stage with a pole that the girls dragged the buck up onto during the half-time show. We had topless waitresses grabbing us drinks from the bar so we ordered as frequently as we could just to get the girls back again. Most of us were drinking basics which were about $8.50 a pop, which wasn't a problem. The club was clean and the arm chairs we were seated in were really comfortable. We received friendly service from everyone we came into contact with, including the manager. The music was low-key enough to talk amongst the group during play time, but at a decent enough volume for us to feel as though we were in a club.

The dealer on my table was Miss Nude Australia from a couple of years ago and she was a blonde hottie. She interacted really well with the group and put up with our rowdiness. Mates on the next table had a brunette who was also fine. Half way through play we stopped so the girls could do a private show for the buck. This was loads of fun and we all got to see our dealers get naked. I must say this was the highlight of the evening. The girls dragged the buck on the stage and got raunchy. They used props like whips, handcuffs and played in shaving cream, which was well….awesome. After the 30 minute show the girls put on for our buck they returned to the tables to deal the last half of the tournament topless. Those of us still playing found it hard to concentrate on the game. We were having such a great time that our function room must have had fun oozing out of it because other dancers were wandering in to see what all the ruckus was about. The guys who were out of the game couldn't resist taking some of these girls for a private dance, which were allowed to take place along the extra seating in our room and priced at $55 for 10 minutes. More concentration lost….The outcome of our tournament left unknown as the remaining players threw their chips in the air and grabbed the nearest girl to take for a private show. All the ladies had the moves and draped themselves nicely over each one of my buddies. They were also really playful and were more than happy to do 'swapsies'.

It was just unfortunate that all good things must come to an end and not long after our scheduled three hour event was set to finish our group was rounded up and heading into the main club area. This is where I got to see the action in full swing and be amazed by some of the roaring talent that is Hollywood Showgirls. The music was pumping to some great tunes and we mingled on in the main club area until the early hours of the morning. I had a great time at Hollywood and I would highly recommend the venue to anyone heading out on a buck's night (or just heading out) on the Gold Coast looking for a classy, happy and fun atmosphere to party in.
