St James occupies a beautiful building and is one of Houston's upscale clubs. The facility has a Vegas feel to it, with columns, arches, and high ceilings galore. There's a huge raised center stage for the feature performer, plus two small side stages for ancillary dancers. The girls do two song sets - first on the main stage, and then moving sequentially in a clockwise fashion to the other two stages.

This is a topless place, which while I knew that, still found frustrating when the girls bent over only to show their thongs in full glory. That being said, there were some pretty girls, perhaps approaching 8 in quality. Lots of breast implants though, so knock off points for that. One more plus is the DJ (while still annoying) plays some old-school rock and roll, interspersed among the goddamn rap and hip hop.

I will say their private lapdance rooms are great. They're large, clean, and contain the same comfy lounge chairs found in the main club area. Mine had two chairs, one of which my girl shoved into the room's door to indicate it was occupied - nice touch. We had a room at the end of the short hall, which I'd recommend because nobody can walk past your room on the way to theirs, plus the club lighting that comes down the hall will darken with shadows should anyone start to approach the room, giving the dancer and patron adequate time to cover up a little before any potential prying eyes. We never had anyone look in, however, so we utilized the privacy to our mutual groping and stroking satisfaction - nice mileage for $20/song and a solid reason to go back.
