Had another entertaining time on another cold night. Of the two and one half strip clubs in Fairbanks, Reflections is the most consistent. The most northern club in the US, it provides a better experience for an acceptable price than should be expected and more importantly they serve alcohol. The club itself has a good set up. As you enter you pass the bar on your right and enter a fairly large, long and somewhat narrow rectangular room. A raised main stage is positioned in the middle of the room providing good seating and viewing from almost anywhere in the club. There is an additional small stage on the back wall but no VIP area. Lighting is a little dark but adequate enough to see and music isn’t so loud that you can’t talk. Management spends more time cracking the whip with the dancers than with jacking up the customers. Dances are done at or between the tables. Mileage on the floor has always been erratic, sometimes limited to air-dances while at other times full contact is norm. Dancers themselves are another hit or miss situation. Some are local and others are working the circuit and staying in rooms above the club. A few are older, thick and/or simply unattractive but there always seems to be enough relatively good looking girls to keep customers coming back. Either way, they are usually able to provide at least some kind of amusement if nothing else. All in all, Reflections is a decent enough club to spend some time and money especially considering that you are in the great white north. One word of caution: DO NOT drink and drive as the police regularly sit across the street looking to pick off easy prey.
