Arrived at 4:55 on a Friday...

Arrived at 4:55 on a Friday afternoon. Cover was 6.00 and it was 5.50 for my soda. Wait staff was attentive, but not pushy. Parking lot security was very present and very attentive. There were approximately 20 dancers on duty.

Some of the dancers at St. James are truly beautiful, and most will not seek you out, you have to pursue them. I find that kind of thing in a strip club a turn off. I've had some good times at St. James before, but I fear that it's no longer a club for the average Joe.

There are some new VIP areas upstairs. You have to pay a hefty hourly fee to use the room + whatever the dancer wants to charge. I noticed a guy in one of the room with two dancers, and he was just hanging out with the them. If I'm going to dish out 1k per hour for the experience, both me and the dancer will be naked, and we'll be doing a lot more than just hanging out.
