Ok so DC isn't the strip...

Ok so DC isn't the strip club "capitol" of the U.S. but considering the reality of the DC scene Archibald's is a pretty good joint. No cover charge, the dancers are pretty and they're friendly to boot. Sure the drinks are a bit expensive and the physical layout of the club is a bit cramped but the dancers are friendly and they make visiting the club worth it.

I have been to visit the girls at Archibald's a half dozen times over the last 3 months and I have come to know a couple of the dancers pretty well and frankly I enjoy their company. Never once have I got the age old "sob story" or been pressed for cash (beyond the tips that the dancers ask for at the end of their 3 song set) although I am pretty generous to the girls who do spend time with me.

The dancers at Archibald's are for the most part young, fit and attractive. I mostly visit the club during the afternoon between lunch and the evening rush and during that time frame the place is relaxed and easy going. I assume that things get a little more rowdy in the evening. The sound system is quite loud in the club and because all of the songs that the dancers dance to come from an old fashioned juke box that is available to the other patrons of the club the girls sometimes have to dance to strange songs from the like of Elvis, Bobby Darin or Johnny Cash but the girls just go with the flow and make the best of it as they can.
