Browns is clearly the best of the London strip pubs in the Shoreditch area. It's a quick walk from the Old Street or Liverpool Street tube stations. It really is mostly a bar with a stage at one end. There is no cover to enter. Dancers come around for the customary 1 pound from each customer before going on stage and performing. There is a small booth on stage for the DJ.

There are a few chairs and tables along one side of the room, but these are few in number and are rather far from the stage. So really, you should be prepared to stand. The good news is that if you stand right next to the stage, you can really get very, very close to the dancer, and they will often interact with you during the dance. You can tip the dancer (would need to be a bill, so 5 pounds minimum), but there is no obligation.

Each dancer gets on stage and strips to full nude during the course of one song. So the dancers are relatively quick. And there are long pauses (roughly 5-7 minutes) between each dancer. These are both annoying features. However, what makes this club is the dancers. These were some of the hottest dancers I have seen at any strip club anywhere. Dancers were mostly white, but they also had the hottest black dancer I've ever seen at a club. Seriously, if you know what most women generally look like in England, it's very surprising that they were able to find this many really attractive dancers.
