This is a very strange place....

This is a very strange place. It is a cross between the television show "Cheers" and stip club. It is neither, yet it is both. I arrived at about 10:00. There is obviously a very dedicated crowd of regulars that the bar caters to. Being from out of town, I was completely ignored. Even when conversations were started, they abruptly ended as soon as a regular walked in. I don't blame them, but I had a pocket full of money, and no one to spend it on.

Finally, a very nice young shapely blonde noticed how long I was at the bar and asked why I was just hanging around. I told her that no one had even approached me. She quickly stated that I was out of towner and the girls shy away from anyone from out of town. The preference is for the regulars.

To make a long story short, I finally did get a dance and it was certainly worth it. We spend a good long time together and it was a very enjoyable envening. I just wish I did not have to work so hard, and wait so long, to get someone to notice I am a customer also.
