Glitter Gulch has had a bad...

Glitter Gulch has had a bad rep. at this website, and many others too, but I'd like to offer a different side. I was downtown on a convention, staying at the Plaza across the street. One of the nicest experiences I had was going into GGG on a weekday afternoon. Yes it's free, but with a 2 drink minimum. And yes, it's not the cleanest place around, but as far as strip clubs go, it's not real bad. The guys at the door are friendly enough, and most girls are nice. But with about 15 girls dancing, and maybe 10 guys in there, you've got your pick. So I picked one to talk to, and we really had a good conversation. I bought her a drink, talked some more, had a dance or two, very good ones by the way, lot's of contact, and even an extra dance or two. I think I was with her in the VIP area for 40 minutes, asked her what I owed, and she only said $40. That was an afternoon special. WOW! Not sure if that's every afternoon or what. The area downtown is safe, if staying there, no need to drive and park - location is great - and when you come out from an afternoon, it's time for dinner. If you want a good experience, try a weekday afternoon, there, about 4:00 PM is perfect I think.
