I went on the grand opening...
I went on the grand opening of this club which now called New York New York. The El Cabaret Dulce Amante sign was still in front. The parking lot was decent. There was a line of people (half male and half female) waiting to get in which made me think it was a night club. Some guys standing near the door said they were having a grand opening/birthday party. It was $15.25 (no mistake) at the door and one beer was around $5. Nice size club with one main stage and a satellite stage in the corner. Plenty of places to sit. A main v.i.p room (no curtains) and a less private v.i.p. section in the club on some couches. On this grand opening night, the club was packed with females that I could only wish were dancers but were there for the birthday party They were very open to watching the girls on stage but they kind of took away from the dancers because they looked very nice and guys were admiring them also. They DJ plays hip hop, rap and r and b and wasn't too annoying.
The dancers are majority African American, with maybe 3 to 4 Latina, and I even saw one White girl. Dancers look scale was 6, 7, 8's. With the exception of 2 or 3, dancers were nice sizes. Mainly hood chicks with tattoos but a few classy ones as well. Around 1 or 2 a.m., they have something called "ShowTime" where all the dancers come stand by the main stage and give you a chance to dance with them, while tipping of course. Some dancers just bent over and shook it on you like in a night club, and some got on stage and just danced for you. Dancers are nice for the most part, but there were some that wanted you to approach them or maybe had their picks of who they wanted to approach. One girl in particular approached me first and asked if I wanted to go in the v.i.p. room; after I told her I didnt really want a v.i.p., she then asked could she do anything. Some girls offered extras, but some were just there to dance
