Noticed 2 black guys just sitting in one of the U shaped couches not getting dances and barely even acknowledging the girls. Had their phone plugged into the wall and laying on the couch. Took up space that could have been used for actual paying patrons to get dances. These the drug guys or pimps?

Heard from a regular Platinum dancer at Diamond that Platinum should be opening up soon. When is soon? Not sure, but that's what I was told.

The only black girl I let dance on me is a regular that knows better than to try and finesse me with how often I come by. Helps being a regular and knowing the managers/bouncers too. Smh. Sad to hear this happened. I even remembering seeing girl that did this with her long red braids the last time I was there. Never got dances from her cos she just wasn't my type and she gave me bad vibes.

First time visiting today trying to sniff out some of my favorite Platinum Cubans and all I can say is. Why the fuck is the music so damn loud in this club? The layout with the couches is nice but I fucking can't stand how loud it is in here. I must be getting old.

I'm here right now and I can tell you the club is overloaded with Cubans and latinas. Girls outnumber the guys here 3 to 1. Can't even post this without 3 Cuban girls trying to dance on me. Friday 7/22 @ 4:10 pm

Might sound like a club ad, but I'm just talking from the head (both heads) and heart. Love this place. Best of both my favorite clubs with the Platinum girls there. And definitely not as crowded and smoky as Platinum gets. Also my corona was $6. I think red bulls are $5. And mixed drinks are generally $10-12.

Still my go-to club though I agree with all the sentiment above. I think I visit these clubs too often because a fellow club patron recognized me from Follies and Platinum. 😂 I actually don't mind the couches since you can get a good dance on them, but the tore up plastic isn't comfortable for me or the girls. A little bit of upkeep would go a long way.

Still no Cuban-crew at Vivide? Guess they must be at Diamond. Or did Platinum open back up?

@Peso3x I left around 3 and it was pretty dead. Drove by Platinum and it's definitely closed. Wonder where the girls are.

Agreeing with both of y'all. Follies doesn't feel the same without the Cuban crowd. Will let everyone know if I start seeing them again.

Techman, I'm going to guess usual Follies rates. $50 for the club. $150-200 to the girl, depending on the girl.

Guys. Dayshift Follies is back and it's at VLive/Vivid off of Marietta St NW. I just left a review on that clubs listing, and I think it's the real deal.

Swung by Platinum today. The vibe was similar, and there were familiar Follies faces.. but something was still off about it. Similar, but not quite right.

Let's hope that they know better than the rumors are suggesting.
