I would say that the one stool closest to the VIP room upstairs is not particularly well lit. At least not much more than the far end of the bar downstairs.

There is an abundance of parking. I can't imagine how it's possible to spend 15 minutes looking for parking. I've never had to park more than half a block away.

It was indeed Hugs. She is usually upstairs and spends a lot of time on stage but this time she was downstairs.

This is not The Pic I know. Street parking is never difficult. It's abundant. $25/dance? It's always been $10! If that's true there has been a big change since the pandemic started.

In this case the very small VIP room has an actual door not just a curtain. If memory serves me, the door can even be locked.

Papi_Chulo is right. There's a sing customer VIP room by the bar. There's a red light that tells you when it's in use. Although not as common as at the far left of La Pearl, sometimes you can get the VIP treatment right there on one of the bar stools by the entrance door to the room.

Yeah, 10 pm is past closing most nights.

Saturday at 5 pm is not prime time for this club. Might want to give it another try another day. Then again, if you're so scared of the neighborhood, you should probably stay home and leave the booty for the rest of us!

If you think the neighborhood is sketchy, it means you're judging TV and movie stereotypes instead of the actual neighborhood.

Clarification: "aren't really open til midnight" means they don't really stay open that late, not that they don't really start getting action until that late. These places close early.

VIP room upstairs is open to all. Space for you and one fact. $20 charge to house on top. Everything else arranged between you and the dancer.

Maybe it sounds that way, but it matches my experience.
