What's Your Playbook?@san_jose_guy 'civilianize it'? Are you being serious? I am old enough to be their grandfather...you really think your strategy will work for me?

What's Your Playbook?@Papi_Chulo Yeh man, I've tried that too, better but some side effects. I'm starting to think it's my general obesity that is the real issue here. What's real funny is that a dancer I met motivated me to join the gym and get in shape, not that she said anything about it, but I felt like a slob next to her and in my head I figured she would like an in shape old man than a fat old man. And my heart flutters when I think about our life together..:)
But yeh, I club in Austin. The specific clubs I frequent and Palazio, Perfect 10 and Rick's. But all Rick's seems to be the most reasonable and also has the less attractive dancers.

What's Your Playbook?@Papi_Chulo I do very rarely, I tend to get dizzy when I do use it, so I try to save it for really special occasions.
So, I've had a strippers say things along these lines...Anything goes in the VIP, but need to go to the VIP which is (depending on club) $150-$300 and then have to pay her $500-$800 for an hour to spend time with me in the VIP. Luckily I didn't bite on any of these offers, but these happen so often I'm starting to think they are the norm...does this sound no similar what you guys experience?

What's Your Playbook?@K Those are literally the first words you say when you meet a dancer you like for the first time?

What's Your Playbook? This is mine...I figured I can't do ITC on a moments notice, I'm into my 60s so you can put two and two together, let's just say limp bizkit is my constant companion. So, in the beginning when the dancers asked to dance I said okay, but when they grabbed a limo bizkit it was getting embarrassing and I realized I'm not the ITC type.
So, I thought maybe if I just relax in the club, become a regular, get to know the dancers and waitresses a bit...eat, drink buy the dancers food...which I read on here is a way to spend more time with them. Eventually the Idea was for me to broach the subject to meet outside the club or they may ask themselves, but this is basically what I was going for...what I call the long game (I guess).
But seems like I am doing something wrong because, the girls in the blues I frequent are trying to get dances or sell VIPs...and eventually they leave. I let them know I will compensate them for their time and hand over $40-$100 plus drinks over the course of 1-3 hours. Sometimes they give me their numbers and I'm not sure what to do with it. Like the other day a dancer sent 'hey' to which I replied 'what's up?', then nothing.
What is wrong with my approach or attitude? I would love to just LDK in the club, but like I said issues, so...I am trying something different.

Losing Confidence!! :(@warhawks, @flagooner
It's too late for that, there is one stripper that has been consuming my thoughts since I last saw her. I am doing everything I can to not go back because it might be the slippery slope to 'shitsville'.

Losing Confidence!! :(@Papi_Chulo I think you are right, I maybe the type (2) you described. And, to answer your question, they spend about 2-3 hours. And the dances are $20 per song.
Thanks for all the replies, I thought I was prepared because I read a lot of articles and discussions and reviews on this site. But, my head got all mushy because of the attention I was getting...and I was getting a few numbers from waitresses and dancers, I thought I was different to them. So, now I can understand the 'cynical way' (or more realistic) of looking at it...get me emotionally hooked and make me want to compete with the other guys who conveniently seem to be rich but weird, not nice and charming like me. I see it now. Thanks y'all for ruining my dream!! :)

Losing Confidence!! :(True, not every single one says something along those lines, but in the comprise of the conversation especially if they travel to other clubs, the ones who work in bigger cities allude to the higher end clientele.
This one time a dancer said that as she was waking in for her shift that day someone pulled into the parking lot in a Mercedes and waved her down. He then, apparently, proceeded to send her pictures of his other cars and houses and wanted to see her outside the club.
Another time that comes to mind is when I was sitting with this dancer for about na hiur, maybe more, because we had something to eat as well, she said 'you know I can walk around the club and can make $500 in a hour, but I like spending time with you.' I know I know what 'like you' means in the club, but I kinda want to believe it. :)

Losing Confidence!! :(Thanks Subrman and sharkhunter, What is a reasonable amount to spend, my budget is about $100-$200 a visit. Should I save up for a big night and cut down on the frequency of visits?
