Are you saying that they have an open VIP now?
The last time I was in there, which was recently, they had booths, which were all separated and had curtains on them.

There's no way you can call those back rooms "plush". I'd call them something along the lines of acceptable now but considering that the back rooms used to be a small, curtained both with no room and a bar chair, they're a considerable upgrade from what they used to be.

That seems to be pretty much standard for this club now. Few girls, overpriced VIP. I keep longing for the days when it first opened and when it was so good. I keep hoping that it's going to go out of business as Hustler and get bought by someone around here, so they can turn it into a strip club like the others around here are. Until things change, my dollars go elsewhere.

I HATE smoking in the club and even worse, HATE leaving a club smelling like it. Even though I hit the clubs frequently, on more than one occasion, I've gone elsewhere for exactly that reason.

You should have tried to negotiate. The girls will throw any price out there that they think they might be able to get. If a guy just agrees, that's great for them. For BBBJCIM, you should have been able to get that for $ or less.
After making a deal, a girl who tries to upcharge does nothing but piss me off and guarantees that I'd never go back with her again.

The setup you describe makes me think of the Spearmint Rhino in Lexington, Ky.They have a set up like that - like three dances for $100 but they also have the private room thing, where they charge a high amount for the room.
On my last visit to the Rhino, I was talking to one of the girls about it and she told me that the girls get their cut out of that - it's not just bar fees. If I'm not mistaken, I think she was getting $120 out of a $200 private room visit there.
Having said all of that, my thoughts would be that Hustler is the same set up but the girls are trying to con more money, by saying anything over and above the room fee is additional.
I'm with you in regard to Hustler previously being a favorite club. I used to go there almost every week after they first opened. There was always fun to be had, hot girls and good prices. Then, after the corporate change, it died and I haven't been back.
The big advantage for Hustler, aside from being a much better looking bar is their private rooms. I'm sure you remember when the rooms / vip fee was $10 or $20 and that was it. From there, you make your deal with the girl and they left you alone. I mean, seriously, $200-500 in room fees for 15-30 minutes with a dancer? LOL! No, thank you.
