I hadn't been to Sammy's in like 6 months, but in that time the talent has definitely gotten better. I was there a week ago on a Friday night and was surprised by what I saw. Before, there would be maybe 2 really hot dancers and then a whole bunch that were Ok and then a few that I wouldn't go near if someone paid me. This time around, there were like 6 really hot dancers. Like really hot. I was really surprised. Hopefully that wasn't some weird fluke and this is the new norm at the place. They still charge a ridiculous $45 per dance except once an hour where you can get two for the price of one, but the songs during that time are shorter than they are normally. So what happens is very few people get the regular priced dances and then 2 for 1 hits and the place goes crazy for 2 songs. And then everybody goes back to not getting dances for an hour. At least that's been what I've observed. I'd spend SO MUCH MORE money if it were $20 per dance which is still the price in the Dallas clubs where I used to go. But whatever. So anyway, if you haven't been back, I recommend giving it another try because I think it's gotten way better in the talent department. Also, I've always thought the bartenders here were really friendly and cool. The waittresses are hit or miss.

I would definitely go back to this place. I'd know to avoid Ireland (super hot redhead, but a total money-grubbing b-word who demanded I buy her a drink) and this other blonde chick who was super hot but had Nottingham Forrest tattood on her back and a salty attitude to match. I'd know that the front bartender was relatively cool and the male bartender in the back is kind of a douche. I'd be prepared for some of the dancers to be AMAZING and friendly and others to be extremely aggressive and not so nice people. Yes, it is decked out with all sorts of hunting lodge kitsch which made it feel more like a Cabella's or Bass Pro Shop than anything else. The front, larger portion of the club is a little too well lit for my tastes, but the back room is nice and dark. The back portion of the club definitely feels more upscale and less forced hunting lodge. The dancers are hot. I'd say the least attractive was like a 7 and there were a large number of like 8.5's and a few 9s and 10s. Yes, unless you get a champagne room, the lap dances occur out in the open. I recommend going to the back room. You will get plenty of fantastic mileage with the right dancer. The patrons are kind of douche-y, so if that's who you like to roll with, you'll feel right at home. But at the same time, you won't have to deal with the same amount of riff raff you might find at other clubs. I like the back room because it's a small space so the dancers don't have to walked great big distances when they are looking for guys interested in lap dances. So if your favorite dancer starts walking around back there, there's a good chance she'll walk by your area or at least close enough that you can make eye contact and wave her over. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this club, just be forewarned that you might come across some dancers or fellow patrons who are pretty douchey. But you might also come across a great time, if you don't let the crappy people ruin your night, like I almost did.

So I came in on two consecutive Friday nights. Nice place. A few hot dancers. Decent for Pensacola... But 1%er bikers were there both times. The first time there was only two. The next time there were at least 7. They didn't cause any trouble and mostly kept to themselves, but I've seen way too many TV shows and documentaries to not be scared crapless, so I quietly made my way out. Other than that, it was a decent club. There were some solid 7's and 8's. Just like Sammy's, they have the ridiculous $45 per dance price unless you get a once an hour 2 for 1 deal. There's also a $130 for 15 minute private VIP option. Pretty pricey if you ask me. But you can get a heck of a lot more mileage than at Sammy's.

So lap dances are like $45, except every now and again they offer two for one. Which is just really annoying. That's the most expensive I've ever seen a non-VIP lap dance. The quality of dancers is hit or miss. Plenty of 6's, like one 8 or 9, every now and again you'll see a solid 9 or 10. It's the only place I've been to where the dancers seem to be shy about coming up and chatting up customers. Maybe I'm just horribly wretched, but a couple of times I've been there for an extended period of time without any dancers coming up to me. Today I was there maybe an hour and 15 minutes and not one dancer came up to me. Very weird when you're used to them swarming like vultures. It's not dumpy or dirty, for the most part, but it's also the least nice club I've been to, if that makes sense. The central area almost looks like cafeteria chairs and tables set up. It's just a weird club, from the layout to the prices to the timid dancers. But I've had some good lap dances here and the bartenders are friendly. Some of the dancers are cool and friendly, others are just kind of not engaged.
