This sounds pretty similar to my recent trip.

I can tell you they've been working on that goofy expansion since like 2018. It was supposed to have been finished before the pandemic even happened. I have no idea what all has made it drag out THIS long.

I'd say most dancers are looking for a little extra tip, and some will ask, but I don't feel like it's 100% expected. (Sorry that wasn't a clearer answer.)

I've been here countless times. If guys go to the stage, the close come off. Also, you were there multiple hours without once going to the stage?!?

I've been here many times, including a number of encounters with Summer, and this review sounds totally accurate to me.

I was recently told by a dancer that it was closed for remodelling. I don't know for sure, but there is a chance it'll be back.
