Lots of glitz, not much glamour.

I have been going to Lust for the last six years. It's about 1.5 hours away so I am not a regular, but visit several times a year. I have gotten to know some of the regular dancers and staff and they are always friendly although they are sometimes understaffed. I happened to be there April 1st 2021 for the much anticipated post COVID re-opening and renovation reveal. Shiny vinyl seating, glitzy "chrome" decorations, a much appreciated new bathroom, but the new addition has not yet opened. Once you get past the door buzzer the place is welcoming and inviting.

I went last Monday and arrived around 6pm. I paid the $10 cover and went to the bar to get a beer. After 10 minutes with no bartender in sight I decided to have a dance with one of the regular dancers. She delivered as always. When I came back to the bar the bartender was there. Turns out she had double duty as the cook, so when there was a food order she had to go to the kitchen and leave the bar unattended. There were about six dancers and as many customers for the end of the day shift. A typical Monday. When the night shift arrived, I was amazed to see at least fifteen dancers. They represented a wide variety of ethnicities, body types, and dancing techniques. As usual, some were very friendly and some appeared to be bored to tears. I got a couple more dances from the friendly ones.

The dance prices increased dramatically after the COVID re-opening and renovation. Used to be $80 for 15 minutes. Now it's $100 for 10 minutes, $140 for 15 minutes, $220 for 30 minutes and up. They do offer a one song dance for $40, but I've never had one. Other than the new furniture, the dances are the same as before the renovation. The Club keeps half the money and the dancer gets the other half, so be sure to tip your dancer if you enjoy the dance.
