Visited this club and Doll House...
Visited this club and Doll House on the same night. They are apparently owned by the same people, and work exactly the same. This one is a bit larger than the Doll House, and the dancers here, including one who said she's worked at both, said this one is better. I prefered Doll House because I found it friendlier and more intimate. First of all, Cabaret Internationale, what's with the name? Is this supposed to be a strip club for commies? I think the idea is that it's high end and hence international, but the decor, which seems to be intended to be Hawaii East, is really more Walmart does Jimmy Buffett. Just plain old weird. Large stage on the right as you enter. Tables in front of it, with raised platforms on two sides, where some people sat. Dances at your seat, though I saw several people pick the far end of the bench at the right of the stage. I think they figured they'd get more action over there, but since everyone who's watching the stage is also watching them, they clearly didn't. Waitresses were very friendly, and yes one danced a little. Dancers were perfectly alright looking, at both this club and Doll House every bit as attractive as the allegedly more attractice dancers at Rachels. I just couldn't get the feel of this place. The parts didn't seem to go together. I felt a little on display the way the club was laid out, and I found the waitresses more interesting and fun than the dancers who came by. Nothing wrong, really, just didn't do much for me.

This club and Cabaret Internationale across...
This club and Cabaret Internationale across the street are owned by the same people, along with four or five others around town, and are run the same way. I enjoyed this one more than Cabaret. It's smaller and, I felt, more intimate and comfortable. Dancers are about equally attractive at both, nice enough but not really outstanding. Same as at Rachel's, which allegedly is more upscale. Early evening, I think before 7, they had a buy one get one free offer on beers. A lot of places they'll bring both at once, but here they brought one and laid a shot glass upside down on your table, which you could redeem later. I thought this was a nice idea. Problem was, I overbought and got a bit too wasted, which probably meant I spent less on dances and left a little earlier than I would have otherwise, so the club gained a little in bar tab at the expense of dancers. Dances are all done at your table, and all air. That's true of all Orlando. But I found several of the dancers friendly, and they stuck around. Periodically I'd get a dance because they were just sitting talking to me. I can't believe they make all that much this way. There is a VIP room, which I gather is the same as the main room, not entirely private and basically the same dances. Bar when you enter, fairly long and narrow stage for a small club kind of opposite it, with two poles. Bouncers were very professional and cool. Not very often I'm impressed by the bouncers, but they were good here. If you don't expect too much, this can be a nice place. I enjoyed by time, and will return.

Presents itself as an upscale club,...
Presents itself as an upscale club, and apparently has the reputation as having the best/prettiest dancers in town. There might be two Rachels clubs, I'm not sure. The one I went to is visible on the way from the airport to downtown. It's a steakhouse on one side and strip club on the other. Big stage in the middle, bar to one side. I was so confused by the place I can't remember the exact layout. I think two dancers on stage at once when I was there. Bouncer greeted me and brought me to a seat. Turned out it was in the narrow isle, so every time someone walked by when I was getting a dance, the dancer had to stop and wait. Not enough room for two people. But even though other seats were slightly better, the whole place felt cramped even though it was fairly big. Very smoky. And so loud that I couldn't hear the dancers when they came by with the, wanna dance? I had a beer and got a couple of dances, then was about to leave when I was approached by the waitress and decided to get a second beer. Ended up leaving it in frustration. When you can feel the music through your bones, it's too loud to be an upscale club. If Rachel's was targeting 17 year old meth addicts, it was about right. Left with $$$ in my pocket, which I wanted to spend. The dances are all air, table dances. Dancers were pretty enough, though all had at least a bit of a belly. No flat abs and no truly skinny girls. United Nations from the rare times I could actually hear the dancers.
