Visited this club and Doll House...
Visited this club and Doll House on the same night. They are apparently owned by the same people, and work exactly the same. This one is a bit larger than the Doll House, and the dancers here, including one who said she's worked at both, said this one is better. I prefered Doll House because I found it friendlier and more intimate.
First of all, Cabaret Internationale, what's with the name? Is this supposed to be a strip club for commies? I think the idea is that it's high end and hence international, but the decor, which seems to be intended to be Hawaii East, is really more Walmart does Jimmy Buffett. Just plain old weird.
Large stage on the right as you enter. Tables in front of it, with raised platforms on two sides, where some people sat. Dances at your seat, though I saw several people pick the far end of the bench at the right of the stage. I think they figured they'd get more action over there, but since everyone who's watching the stage is also watching them, they clearly didn't.
