Answer to questions: sorry for lack of details. It is a true story, by the way. After they searched me, they told me it was a routine stop and sent me on my way. I did not have to pay anything. I wasn't driving there. They put my hands up against their car. Indeed, I was walking back to my hotel which was 3 blocks away and it was late, 4 am. Next time, I'll take a cab.
