Police Harrassment destroying the vibe in

Sorry guys. This is not a review of the club, but more of an update on the situation in Tijuana. I am writing this so that everybody is very careful Of late the police have become very aggressive against tourists in Tijuana. Last Thursday evening I visited Adelita Bar and took a break to have some tacos around the corner. I was just minding my business at the taco stand and the police pulled up, came out of their car and started interrogating me about how much I had had to drink. I was honest and told them that I don't drink alcohol and they then accused me of being drunk in public and they put me up against the car, took my wallet away from me, put handcuffs on me and put me in the car.

They then started driving away. It was really scary! I felt like I was being kidnapped. They drove me around the town in silence for quite a while and then I negotiated to get my wallet back for the price of all the money I had in it: $100. They accepted and let me out of the car. I am posting this true story for two reasons. 1. To tell you guys to be careful or completely avoid TJ. The cops are out of control. 2. If you know the management of Adelita or Hong Kong, let them know that due to the aggressiveness of the police, we will stop visiting and they should do something about it.
