Good review. I was also amazed the first time I went into the Hi Liter during the daytime. Totally different level of activity and quality of dancers than any daytime strip club I've ever visited.

Funny, gamma, but the guys are decapitating so many people lately, I don't think body armor wound have helped those customs. Sad to say this is not a joke.

A great place to visit, but please be aware violence in Tijuana's Zona Norte has, within the last few weeks of this writing, moved ever so collided to this club, and to Adelita's, almost right next door.
Within the last few days, 2 people were gunned down within 100 yards of the Hong Kong. It is not yet known if these are cartel related. To help you understand how close these were to the front of the Hong Kong and Adelitas Bar entrance, you recall the Adelitas store front for lingerie? It is the next storefront to that.
As an observer to these events, I'm safe, but I know of at least 8 staunch long time visitors who have finally said they are not going near the clubs. These are guys who have been denying it could affect them.
My purpose for adding these comments is simple: to warn my fellow visitors this Zona is not as safe, not even close, as it was just a year ago. The murder rate is expected to reach an unprecedented 1,500 people in Tijuana this year, and travelers to this dreamland are taking different risks than in times past.
Yes, cartels are responsible for most of this, but the chances it might directly affect one of us is increasing.

For those considering the Dreamland we call Tijuana, things are changing radically. Last year over 1300 known murders occurred in this Dreamland of ours, and it looks like the total this year will surpass 1500 murders. Most all cartel related, but the past few days murders are a few hundred yards from our beloved Hong Kong.
Based on the past few days violence, the Tijuana situation is reaching unheard of levels. I may write an article about it on this site, but yesterday's Zona Norte murders, all within a minute's walk of the infamous Hong Kong , now total 6 in one day. Not included in this total is the Uber driver who was killed the day before yesterday with 3 Americans in his car.
Another dead body left at Home Depot TJ. That's 8 if you include areas just outside HK Bar. 2017 TJ run rate looks scary indeed. 1500 this year, no longer away from our stomping ground
