Club Petra

Hey, does anyone know anything about this club. I heard that it was closed. I've been calling the number for months and it keeps telling me that it's disconnected. It must must dead as hell in there because if you as a business can't keep your phone on, you must not be generating much income. On top of that, I youtubed this place and most of the girls I saw were HIT! I mean there is a difference between a nice fat ass and and fat ass filled with cellulite....smh. Anyways, I'm looking forward to see anybody's current review on this place, or any updated info.

I went to Club Petra a couple months ago to see Cherokee D'Ass, the pornstar, as a feature dancer. She came pretty late though, so I never actually got to see her unfortunately, so here's my review of the club itself. The club is in a fairly desolate area in Queens, but near a main road, and actually sitting almost on top of a a subway station, so getting there is not a problem, and I didn't like I was in any danger. I paid $15 cover, but I was there relatively early, and there was a feature, so I don't know if that's the norm or more than usual. They weren't really pushing a drink minimum, so that was nice. The ATM was out of commission when I was there, though, so I had to talk the manager into letting me get cash at the bar. There was a low catwalk style stage for the dancers, and tables nearby, but no brass rail area. The club is pretty big. The main room doesn't have dividers or that many tables, so it feels like one big room. One wall had booths that I assume you had to pay for. It looked well-kept; I didn't notice anything that looked dodgy. The dancers I could see were all pretty nice. You could tip at the stage, or dancers would come around and talk to customers as well and you could get some grinding contact for a small tip. I held off from privates for a while, but I eventually caved. Most of the girls there were black, but the dancer I chose happened to be white. Her name was Sky, and the main selling point -besides having a cute face - was an amazing rack. I felt like the lap dance area was private enough, and there was a little loveseat behind some curtains. I paid $20/song for a couple really nice lap dance. One thing I want to call out that I liked about the club was that the crowd was extremely co-ed. Lots of people were coming out with their girlfriends, and I even saw a group of girls together on a night out. So it had a more club-like feel than the most places where you feel like you're in a crowd of voyeurs.

I came on a sturaday around 1 am so I was a little chocked at how slow it was. people didn't start rolling in untill about 2 or 3. It was a nice club. It was slow that night. A lot of big booty girls. It was a lot of the same girls from perfections and sue's. The bar is really nice and the club was really nice. I got no wattered down drinks. They need to promote a little more. As nice as the girls are it was just dead and not lively. They give great contact dances. I will be going back again. very laid back place

This was my first visit to this club and will likely be my last, at least for a while. I arrived at about 8:45 which, while not late by NYC standards, is not so early that the night shift has not started in most NYC clubs. But when I first arrived there were no girls on stage and a couple of black girls sitting in street clothes at the bar. And there were only two customers other than myself, though I think that one of them was the boyfriend of one of the dancers. At 9:30, the two black girls got up on stage. The stage is big and T shaped, with four poles in total. Unlike virtually every other club in Queens, the stage is not surrounded by the bar. The girls were decent looking but not spectacular and they had booties, as did the two other black girls who walked through the door at around 10:15. Needless to say, the pickings were slim on this night. For some basics: I was not charged a cover, but there was a cash register by the door so I have no doubt that there normally is one. My Jack on the rocks was $12. I found it interesting that they pour all of the drinks into clear plastic cups - no doubt to keep some of their patrons from using the glasses as weapons. ;) I wish I had more on the pricing structure but I just could not get motivated enough to do anything with the talent that was there, which was essentially four black girls in the 5-6 range. In terms of the club itself, one can paint a pig but it is still a pig. The buidling is clearly old and worn, but they have tried very hard - with limited success - to give the interior a posh look and feel. There are lots of leather couches along one of the side walls and in a large center area in the club. They are no doubt shooting for that high-end lounge feel, but it is hard to disguise the converted warehouse look of the place. And pisser beware when you go into the bathroom - it simply stank of old urine. I doubt that bathroom has seen a bleach bottle in quite a long time. I put in the minimum 2 hours necessary for me to write a review of a club, but once the two hour mark hit I could stand it no more and took off for better times elsewhere.

I had no idea this was ever a strip club. I usually see long lines outside on the weekends, but last Fri, I went at 1am and it was fairly empty. There is a cover, but they have different promoter lists at the door that either comp or discount. They had a main stage, a roped off VIP area inside the main room, a separate room near the bathroom for VIP or lap dances and a pretty decent bar. Unlike other strip clubs, they offer hookah which I thought was cool. Drinks were very strong. The DJ played all the latest hits in Southern and mainstream Rap. Now onto the dancers. They weren't as ghetto or trashy as I would have suspected. They all danced on stage in bikinis then eventually taking off their tops. Their stage performances were pretty boring, but then again it was pretty empty and the people that were there were not tipping. I got a table dance for $20 which seemed really high but the dancer was friendly and had the nicest, tightest body in the club. I could have touched more if I wanted, but I'm also a female and dancers always let women get away with a lot more. By the time that I left at 2:30am the club had completely filled up. Would go again just because it's close by and I liked the music. But wasn't really impressed by the attractiveness of the dancers.

Oh man, I called this place up Saturday night to see if there was a cover. I was told $15 before midnight and $20 after. So we get there, and this place is in a pretty sketchy part of LIC. It's right off the Queensboro bridge but at the beginning of northern blvd. We're walking to the place after the car was parked and my friend mentioned that it looked pretty quiet. We're greeted by a bouncer and tell us it's $20 meanwhile it's like 11:40 so we go in anyway. We're getting patted down in the area where they take your money and I happen to look inside the club to see what's going on. One of the other bouncers runs up and tries to block my view and with good reason. The place was DEAD, like no one there. There was one dancer on stage and the whole place was empty. I have no clue what she was doing on stage since there was no one to dance for. Maybe she was keeping all the other employees entertained while they were watching paint dry. The club itself looked pretty cool but after my friend was patted down we turned around and left. Good thing we didn't pay the $20 before going in. Not going back to a place that was empty on a Saturday night before midnight. Also don't come here if you want to maybe get mugged. Some sketchy characters hanging around outside this place.
