Club Venus

Been laid up for a while due to an injury and finally back out on the scene. Hit a couple local clubs which I normally try not to do too much for a couple of reasons. First, if you have been to Indiana, I probably don't need to say too much more. High mileage clubs are few and far in between. Being a conservative state, we love air dances, pasties, and cow tipping. Sometimes, if you pick the right club you get all three (sorry, bad joke). Second, I don't really want to know or want to run into entertainers when I am out and not at a club. Not to mention, most of the entertainers now probably went to school with my kids. Awkward. So anyway, on to the review. Haven't been here for several years and read some of the older reviews and thought what the heck. So upon entering, I noticed the clientele was most white, one Hispanic, and one African American gentleman. Last time I was here, I was the only white dude, so this was surprise number one. Next surprise, and a big one at that, was the overall looks of the talent. This is primarily a black club and all the women working this day were of variations of fine chocolate - both milk and dark chocolate were represented. The first girl that was one stage when I walked in was super hot, probably an 9 at even Indy's more popular clubs. I took a high table seat near the middle of the stage (not at the rail, back in general seating area). I was hoping she would make standard rounds after she got off stage for table side tips, but she did not. She went to the back for a while, then came out and grabbed the guy next to me and went to the back room/semi open dance area so to speak. The next couple of ladies were still in the 7-8 range and did do the dance parade for tips. Pretty decent table side grind, but no handshakes. Next up was a slightly plus size lady, but she carried it well. She by far did the best stage performance and I approached and tipped at the stage. She twerked the hell out of me and even woke junior up as well. I thought for sure she would come see me when she got off stage, but the Hispanic guy grabbed her and off to the back they went. Last girl I stayed for was more of the athletic type again and just went through motions on stage, nothing exciting. Songs were full length, no DJ when I was there so no names of who was who. So while I was pleasantly surprised at the talent level being much higher than expected, I was disappointed in none seemed to what to offer to take me back for dances as I would have gone with any of them except the unenthusiastic last girl on stage even though she was hot as well. The dance area is a separate room, but most of the couches are in plain view of the main seating area. I get the sense from watching the first girl I saw on stage who disappeared with the guy at the table next to me that you will get much more than air dances here. She had her ass buried in his face alot and it appeared she was handsy. The twerker, while I didn't have a full view of her dance, definitely could still tell she wasn't boring. All this being said, I doubt much else goes on in the club. Which I wasn't offered anything, I wouldn't be surprised at all if take out was offered. If you are looking for a good grind and decent dance without a lot of thrills or extras, you'll have a decent time here. If you are looking for extras, this is not the club in my opinion.

I have had some good times at this hood club in the past and decided to pass through on my drive through the midwest. Previous review indicated there had been a shooting not too long back and that must have been true as when I arrived on a Tues around 5pm there were signs posted of new operating hours from noon-10pm. Wasn't expecting much for a Tuesday dayshift and wasn't surprised to find only 3 dancers in sight and maybe 2-4 custies. None of the chicks were my type in terms of thickness, so I bailed after about 10 minutes. No cover/parking charge for dayshift.

I pulled up and parked walked in and was part of a small collection headed in that was late and the bouncer and his compadre dancer were deciding whether to charge us to get in and whether minimums would still apply. This took awhile as those in front were challenging the lateness and the fee structure. I watched for about 1o minutes and did not see any hot dancers who would have made me not want to miss the place. One very thick and buxomous blonde ebony dancing did know how to present her moneymakers to those surrounding the stage. I would have been the sole white dude in the place and I did since some evil eyes, not all just enough. I chatted just a little with the dancer doubling as an entry attraction, heard the sales pitch and bailed. 3 or 4 tough guys hangin just outside the door said there was a gunshot. I walked to my car which is conspicuously nice and gangsta looking and all of a sudden there is a young AA male running with a Glock towards the front door or street. My life flashed and I thought how in the hell did I get into this? I made like an old Charlie Daniels song and vacated that parking lot and was not polite to the car pulling in. No harm no foul, but is was not cool and I have been lots of bad placed. Some where I did not even speak the language, this was however the topper for real danger. I heard no shots and from where he came running it could have been the back of the club. DONT KNOW and dont want to dig. The dancers were not beautiful but they were hot and on stage sweaty, so they could be fun.

So I had a bit of time to kill, and decided it would be nice to spend it with a cold beer or two in the presence of some friendly young women wearing very little clothing. I've always fared well at Venus, which may not have the hottest dancers in the city, but they almost always make up for it with attitude and friendliness. They do also have a few stunners in there from time to time, which is nice. I particularly enjoy the tiny twins I've seen in there a few times, whose matching bodies are simply incredible. I typically visit in the late afternoon/early evening, and this time was no different as I pulled into the parking lot just before 6PM. I was not prepared for what came next. I stepped inside from the sunny outdoors, and before my eyes could fully adjust to the darkness, I was greeted by women screaming and yelling at each other. As I surveyed the chaos, I noticed tampons and various other purse-related debris strewn across the floor along the length of the bar. Apparently there was a disagreement between a few dancers regarding a missing phone, resulting in the dumping of a handbag. At least two men sat at the end of the bar drinking their beverages and watching the drama unfold. As I prepared myself to turn around and walk right back out, one of the dancers, who seemed to be the alleged perpetrator of whatever heinous crime had potentially taken place, walked away from her boisterous accuser, and right toward me. She grabbed my arm, and said, "Let's go do a dance," and attempted to gently pull me to the not-so-private dance area. I politely declined, noting that I had just walked in and hadn't even ordered a drink yet. I didn't think I needed to mention the screaming and yelling, which don't do much to get me aroused. I usually visit Venus to have a beer or two, spend a few dollars, and only very occasionally partake in a private dance. I prefer to sit at the bar, enjoy my drink, and see who decides to pay me a visit and provide usually-ample attention right there bar-side. The key for me is the typically friendly and relaxed environment. Today, Club Venus was anything but relaxed, as the screaming continued, with who I think was the bartender trying to play referee. I made the wise decision to high-tail it out of there, and as I exited the parking lot, I saw two other customers headed out the door to their vehicles. I haven't seen anything quite like that at any club before, and I really don't care to see it again. Despite that, I know I will eventually return, hoping for that friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and some decent mileage right at the bar.

While this is predominantly an African American club, I have always felt welcome and comfortable as a pale white dude when I have gone in the afternoons and early evenings. Dancers are very friendly, and typically give a very nice grind, even on dollar dances. Beer is reasonable for a club at just under $5. It's not a fancy gentleman's club, but that's not why anyone goes to Venus, so it's perfectly fine. There are some stunners here, but even those dancers who may be less fit more than make up for it with attitude and personal contact. After a few issues at my previous go-to club, Venus is a very worthy replacement.

Hadn't been to CV for several months, due to a boring time last time. Arrived around 5:30, and noticed more cars than usual and more customers and dancers than usual in the bar. One dancer was sitting on the lap of a guy at the bar, leaning forward and bouncing her ass on his crotch while he appeared bored. I ordered a beer and sat down at a table facing the stage, with my back to the bar. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw several dancers seem to approach me, but they just hung out nearby. So I spotted an empty stool at the bar and transferred to there. Immediately a tall thin dancer approached, stood up close and showed me her pierced tongue, then turned around and rubbed her ass on my crotch. I asked what her dances cost, and she said 25. I asked if there were any special deals, and she said 2 for 45. We went back for two. Lots of contact, except when I tried touching under her thong. Went back out and was immediately approached by another dancer, and we went back for two, which involved unrestricted touching of me and her and ended happily! My advice, this seems like a good time to go there. It's a little scary, but may be worth it.
