Dancers were good looking but as with most Grand Rapids clubs the dances suck. However, not a bad place to stop and WATCH the eye candy. I didnt splurge on any dances. Enjoyed my drink and watched. As good as it gets in Grand Rapids. Nothing like Detroit though. I heard that if you find a girl in from out of time (i.e. Detroit), that the dances are better. I would go back if I didn't have any place better to go, but would rather save the money for a trip to Detroit.

Really depends on the dancers on the shift. I've gone 2-3 times in a row where you're pretty much ignored; they'd rather check their phones, smoke or hide in the back. Then once in a while a real sweet angel comes by, actually pays attention to you, and everything is great. VIP dance experience can vary..some play strictly by the rules, others, almost anything goes. Drinks are usually good, and waitresses, when they have them, are fun as well. In fact, sometimes, I'd rather take home the waitress than the dancers..

Police have been cracking down lately; GR already is bikini only, now they're saying the dancers' panties have to cover at least 50% of their ass, so no thongs. This also makes the dancers hesitant with any extras, even a peek at their nipples. Still, if you find the right dancer and chat her up, you can get some good grinding. Overall, probably not worth the private dances unless you can negotiate something up front, but I still had a good time. As usual, it all depends on the dancer, and YMMV.

It really depends on the dancer; I've been here and had a dancer show me a great time, and I've had a dancer try to suck all the money from me with little to show for it. The club itself is seedy on the outside, but surprisingly nice inside. There seems to be a problem in Grand Rapids, not just with the strip clubs, but every club, that the music is really, really, loud. Very hard to have a conversation. Maybe that's not what you're there for, but it's even hard to talk terms with a dancer without shouting in each others' ears. Thursday afternoon was a good time --- only three dancers, but only about 5 patrons, too, and all three dancers were hot. I get a lap dance from V*******, probably mid 30's and about a 7, and the top came off before I could even ask. Lots of two-way touching --- she actually grabbed my hands and put them where she wanted. I think if I had had time for a couple more dances we could have reached a pretty high-mileage agreement. As it was, I left happy. For contrast, another time, a Saturday night, I got a dance from A****, who was probably mid 20's and a real hardbody; very athletic, a demon on the stripper pole, and a great conversationalist. Before she talked me into a dance she sat with me for several songs --- really, more cuddled with me. On the other hand, while the lap dance was a treat to watch, it was strictly by the rules; pretty good grindage, but otherwise low mileage. On that night, that was just what I was looking for, so I'm two-for-two in choosing the right dancer here! Like I said, it all depends on the dancer. Put in the time to get to know them and choose appropriately for what you want.

After a few vacation days in Detroit, I moved on to Grand Rapids for another few days. I was aware of the strict local ordinances that ban topless dancing and touching and decided to see how much fun could be had in a bikini bar. I visited Sensations, situated in a safe shopping and residential area on the southeast side of Grand Rapids, between about 9:30 and 11:30 on a Saturday night. Cover was about $4 and a beer was about the same. The club is rather nice inside, featuring a well-stocked bar along one side and a long stage with a pole at each end. I watched the entire rotation of around six dancers, including a stunning black girl and a very attractive Asian chick. I ended up getting two private dances each from the black girl and a very friendly white girl who won my business by sitting and chatting very interestingly when I arrived. Dances were $20 each, the top stayed ON, and the hands (mine at least) stayed on the hips or waist -- no fondling the funbags! Actually the black girl gave me such a great grind that I could have gone to my happy place right there in the lapdance area, but I chose not to. Sadly, this club may very well be the best of the four in Grand Rapids (see my review of Parkway Tropics, one of the others). If you live here or are visiting, Sensations is worth a try, but there's no reason to make a special trip. It's certainly possible to have good clean orgasmic fun in a bikini bar (e.g., Heavenly Bodies in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, where private dances are topless and some discreet touching is allowed), but this town is not the place for it.

My best friend and I were staying at a nearby hotel for a small party and her and I decided to go to Sensations to check it out while we wait. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot, so we figured it wasn't very busy.. which it wasn't. The older man working the front door was rude, like super rude.. and what's worse is we later discovered he was the manager. He had an attitude and refused to answer our questions. After sitting down, we watched about 3 girls. All in which are tall and skinny - there's hardly any variety. No one but the waitress came up to us. She was very nice, but she was new. We didn't stick around much longer. It was expensive and boring. A complete waste of time.

Although this is a Grand Rapids club, and the ordinance prohibits nudity of any kind, I had a great time here. As soon as I walked in I said hello to a very attractive brunette. On a scale of 1 to 10, she was a solid seven. I sat down and watch the dancer on the stage for a minute, and noticed a very attractive blonde across the room. I would rate her between an eight and a nine. before i knew it the brunette came back and Offered a dance Dances for $20 apiece. Luckily, I brought 40 bucks with me. The dance I received was incredible. Suffice it to say, that my mileage was relatively decent for a Grand Rapids club. There was no hustle, rush, upsell, or any inconvenience. Dancer was very friendly, I will definitely visit this club sometime again.

Sensations is always hit or miss, occasionally somewhere in between. Being Saturday afternoon, it was as expected dead. 4 dancers. All were pleasant and attractive. 2 were quite shapely. Physically the club is the same. Large TVs behind the bar showing sports. The stage is in the center with poles on each end. 2 VIP rooms, 2 seats in one separated There is minimal lighting, nice love padded loveseat and a table where I put my cell phone and glasses to avoid getting damaged. There are beads hanging down covering the entrance. The "manager" walks by each song getting the count for the dancer's house fee. Ended up getting a couple dances from one of the shapely dancers which was quite good for Grand Rapid. As I was leaving, the evening shift dancer's were starting to come in. Some looked shapely, couldn't give an opinion on the others.

My power went out and I needed some place to go. Figured that it had been a while since I had gone here, and its a good way to kill time while waiting for my power to come back on. Not many girls working. But it was a Monday afternoon, so I'm not surprised. No cover when I got there, so that was nice. Took a while before I got any attention. Being a younger guy (26) seems to be a bad thing here, as all the older guys got all then attention. But finally, after tipping several girls on stage, Mimi came by and asked if I wanted some VIP dances. Once we got to the back room, her top was off and she was happily grinding away. After a couple of songs, she started playing with herself, and running her hand up and down my package. She was happy to let me do the same to her, and soon enough, my hand was inside her panties. During the last song I had with her, I was fingering her clit and licking her nipples, and she seemed to be enjoying every second of it. Sadly, she had to go on stage after that, and I called it a night. She never said anything about charging extra for the touching, and only expected the basic $20 per song rate. Her attitude was great, and I will be back to see her again in the near future.

I was in town for business and I was bored... I should have paid attention to the reviews. This place isn't worth the time or money. I am not sure if there is anything in GR worth going to, but avoid this place. The girls were trashy and not really interested in giving the customers an enjoyable experience. I guess beer prices weren't too bad... I've been to cracker jaxx in Jackson, that was a much better time and the prices were the same. The girls there were much more eager to please...

This club has been around for years, so if its raining the roof leaks and the sat. feed to the tv's are down. $4 entry fee, $5 mixed drink but the whiskey and coke are mostly whiskey. I had to comeback again since I had a great time with one dancer the night before. Club has a stage in the middle with two poles, with sitting all around. A couple of large flat-panel screens flank the bar with a sat. feed. either with sports going or Jay on as it was this night. The night before had around 7 girls working, this night being around 11:30 pm had only 3 girls working. It was busy with around 20 customers. Had two groups paying working the $1 tipping on the stage, but no one buying the $20 vip dances. This club has three vip rooms with $20 lap dances. Songs are full length. Had bought several lap dance and drinks the night before for one dancer and she was in again this night. Club is bikini only due to the laws in GR. But the right girls will take off her top in the vip room, some ask for $30 per song for this. Girls work the floor with $1 table dances. Had a great time with Rose, went home a happy camper. I have found that spending time and drinks with the dancers can pay off for great two way dances in the Vip rooms. Of course have had air dances from others in the past and only way to find this out is thru the old research of buying a vip and testing the waters. K'zoo has great clubs also but if in town and don't want the drive can be fun had in GR.

Two visits on same day. Afternoon was uneventful. Of course, can't expect a lot in a bikini club...or can you? Great looking bar along the back of the room...stage in the middle of floor, with comfortable chairs surrounding. Was told by one of the dancers that this was the "classy" club in town...other clubs were in rough areas and extras were easy. Left after one beer, but came back that evening. Quite a difference. A table of male and female customers were having a real fun night. The women were getting on stage and making out with a couple of the dancers. It was stimulating to watch, but dancers were paying all their attention on that table. Waited a while till a dancer came on who seemed like she didn't like what was going on. Tipped her, and she was mine for the night. We talked a while at one of the tall tables...bought her a drink, then went outside with her for a smoke. Decided to try a $20 VIP. Got to touch all the good parts...found out she was quite "swollen"...obviously enjoying the attention to miss kitty. Got back to floor...bar was closing. Offered my dancer a ride home...no dice. O well. Next time.
