Dancer Refuses Table Dances . . .
jablake
Said she be right back, I'd have been surprised if she came back, and that was that. She didn't have a single customer in a little over 2 hours. The club was dead as far as cash with most of the customers unable or barely able to afford a beer it seemed.
A few other dancers were very happy with the small amount of business that I gave them stating every bit helps.
Got something to say?

A few weeks ago at Cheetah in Palm Beach. I asked for a table dance and she said "I only do Laps, Is $25 too much for you " ???
I hope you said, "No, $25 is too much for YOU"
If dancers are making less money, dance prices need to go down not up and they just need to work longer or harder just like everyone else. Besides dancing for a few extra minutes instead of walking around or talking isn't that hard. The dancers should be doing like the grocery stores saying you buy one dance, you get one free.
Back in the early 90s - another time the economy tanked - I remember the Cheetah (an upscale - lol, I love that concept - strip club) in Atlanta reduced dances to $5. The dancers were busy non-stop, and they HATED it.
Never forget that 90% of economics is just psychology recast in monetized form.
O.
Some dancers in her club would think it is THEIR business because they want to create a certain type of environment that is pleasing to customers. If she starts saying NO to $5 dances then some customers may get the wrong impression that typical dancer or the club doesn't value their $5. Considering most of the dancers are struggling the last thing they need is some princess making customers feel bad. It is like at Angels the dancers don't want ROBs or more importantly dancers who have a problem with sex. As it was related to me the main society has an abundance of people who are prudes and the last thing needed is to import them unless they're paying customers! The club has a well deserved rep. and they'd like to keep it. :)
Did I feel bad about get the no? Not really----perhaps if she were perfect, then I'd feel bad that she was out of my price range.
Anyway, I think a dancer should be allowed to DISCRIMINATE AGAINST anyone for any reason. And, I think businesses in general *assuming a free market* should be allowed to discriminate against anyone for any reason. :)
Another perspective could be...the money to some girls justifies even being there or being a dancer...so maybe they feel if they aren't going to make what they want, then what's the point.
Now, a majority of dancers may feel any or all of those forms of discrimination must be prohibited by the club, the dancers, and or the government.
Anyway, $5 is big money to me so I can only go to very cheap clubs. For a $100, I'd need to be in madly in love with the dancer. But, heck if I was wealthy then the money isn't such a big deal.
BTW, at that club I've had other hot dancers refuse table dances. Some were off and on. Meaning when they were really desperate for work they'd lower their standards to table dances. This one hottie would reject one day and the next she'd be asking. It all depended on how she was doing that day---it seemed like she had a fixed daily target. She'd reach that mark and boom she is gone from the club. Very attractive----a pleasure to see her if she was selling me dances or not.
