A few dancers have mentioned on their Instagram accounts that DV-LFP will be closing on November 1st. The reason stated is a six-month closure for remodeling. That immediately sounded suspicious to me. In 25 years of going to strip clubs, in L.A. and Seattle, I've never known of a club to close for remodeling, much less for six monhs. (In that period of time it maybe could demolish the buildling and rebuild new on the same property). I've seen a few clubs do a minor remodel while still keeping the club opern. Pandora's is a recent example.
That would be easy to document. If anyone of you drives by the club regularly, just check the parking lot for construction verhicles (carpenters, plumbers, electrians, etc.) Maybe that might not be visible for a week or two after November 1st.
Another dancer speculated that the club is just closing, period. That I'd tend to believe, more than the remodeling story.
