@docsavage i dont think its true that Nazis or hitler lovers will hate libertarians. I think it really depends on the type of nazi they are. Keep in mind theres two types of Hitler lovers- there is one type that believes the exact mainstream version of events and still likes Hitler. Those ones would be anti libertarian essentially. But theres another camp which believes Hitler was a good guy, that the official story is totally false, numbers of holocaust totally inflated, and all Hitler was doing was getting rid of corruption within his country.

There are lots of reasons why racists or Nazi lovers like libertarianism. They believe it prevents jewish control of government or central banking. It also ends government benefits for minorities, and either prevents or drastically reduces incentives for minorities to want to come here

Also as a libertarian, you get hated by both conservatives and liberals. The only thing is a liberal will hate you less than they hate a conservative and vice versa.

@docsavage, Hitler wasn't a socialist. He was a fascist. He used "socialist" in the party name as a political tactic to attract the working class. He is quoted as as saying, "I shall take Socialism away from the Socialists." He wanted to redefine socialism in a way that aligned with his nationalist agenda.

That said, communism, fascism, and socialism are all branches of collectivism intended to subjugate the individual to the state. They're all evil.

@WiseToo, Time has long maintained that "Man of the Year" does not imply that the named person is a good person, only that they had a profound effect on the world. Which Hitler arguably did. Lots of bad people have been named Man of the Year, e.g. Stalin, Putin, Regan, FDR, Ruhollah Khomeini, without much evidence that they were "good".

They did better than most.. thats what matters. Its laughable how you apply these insane unrealistic standards for presidents, meanwhile when its some lowlife thief like george Floyd you claim he was a good person because he was poor and a ghetto thief. You cant apply different moral standards to people based on their profession or upbringing. Those same high standards you so strictly judge fdr and reagan on, should also apply to lowlife criminals like george floyd or ahmaud arbery

Its also a failed trope to argue that the actions of a politician represent all politicians but that the actions of any other career path dont represent everyone in that career path. Saying all cops or politicians are bad because individual ones have done bad is every bit as absurd as saying every fast food worker or professional athlete is a murderer or somehow involved in murder because someone of their profession was involved in one.

Also trickle economics works, at least to some extent.

Anybody who has ever owned a business or worked for a business understands the concept of trickle down economics. Amazon pays their warehouse workers like $20 an hour… and if you work IT at amazon you make even far more than that… 70k, 100k, even 200k+. That is all trickle down economics at play.

But considering you believe thieves like george floyd/ahmaud arbery are noblemen, i can see why you would argue trickle down economics doesnt exist- it also makes me wonder what you yourself did or do as a profession… since you apparently neither worked for a business nor owned your own business…

Oh also… explain how anyone can legally and ethically earn money without either owning their own business or working for a business…

I mean, i dont really trust or believe in mainstream history, but the official narrative says Stalin killed like tens of millions of people…? Meanwhile, how many did putin, fdr, reagan and khomenei kill? I mean even with those guys, to even get to a significant number you would have to total up the deaths from every war they were involved in, and even then the number would be massively below stalins numbers. That is before even getting into the fact that russia killing Ukrainians on the battlefield isnt remotely the same as stalin intentionally killing people.

Stalin was actually considered worse than hitler historically, and so its extremely, extremely suspicious and fraudulent if someone puts names like stalin , putin, fdr and reagan in the same sentence… in fact such a statement is insane cherrypicking… to even begin to make an argument of that sort, he is taking stalins killings at face value, but applying a totally different standard to fdr reagan and putin claiming they are somehow as bad as stalin even though no official narrative says as such.

You either apply the official narrative everywhere, equally, in which case stalin is massively more evil than fdr reagan putin khamenei, or, you reject the official narrative entirely, and if you reject the official narrative entirely that includes when it comes to stalin which means he may not have killed anybody at all since you’re rejecting the official narrative entirely. No matter which way you slice it, there is no way to equalize stalin with those other names without cherrypicking and double standards, inconsistent logic etc
