How could we verify it's really the dancer who's making the profile?
just via 2 photos, with their name and id. like it used to be. hopefully it wont get abused by AI
That sounds like how they would verify their IRL identity to you. How would we help you be sure they were really stripper? Or what am I missing?
well, they apply for a dancer profile on the site. we used to have that. whether or not they dance we don't know, but why would they sign up here if they didn't dance?

If a dancer wants to promote herself and some PL really wants to see her, put the onus on the PL to verify her authenticity via dm.

@founder the only downside I see is it might encourage strippers to put fotos with their face (or distinctive tats) in their profile. When I was in my 20s, I thought I'd rather be dead than become the corporate toady I eventually became. An ex-stripper being fucked work-wise in her 40s because she used to dance is not an extra any of us will get off on.

I get what founder is saying here...he's not asking us to somehow "know for sure" that a dancer profile is 100% legitimate, just like we can't always "know for sure" that someone who submitted a review actually went to that club. But just the same way that reviews have to at least get past the adjudicators to get published, having the forum members look over the dancer profiles first might help to make sure that some fake profiles could be identified before being published...

I definitely think that having more dancers participate here would be a really good thing, so I would absolutely vote YES to a dancer directory...

I think its a good idea. Also it would obviously be voluntary, and tons and tons of dancers are already posting their pictures with face on instagram or facebook, so i dont think an ex stripper being possibly corporately fucked has any relevance
I say give it a shot see how it goes. Always good to get more dancers on board.
I liked the dancer directory the site had years ago. But these days, if you want significant dancer participation, you may have to create a Spanish language version of the site.
Since I don't remember them, they don't seem worth the effort to me. It never seemed to me that @nicespice, @BubbleYum or @apieceofsausage saw the site as useful for selling dances. Maybe they'd be willing to tell us why not. But, it's useful to get unfiltered feedback from strippers, as opposed to a sales pitch.

I just don't think this site reaches enough men to be worthwhile. I occasionally have people tell me to let them know when I'll be near them, but I feel like if you're not in certain hotspots (soflo, atlanta, seattle, etc), the clubs just aren't getting reviewed enough by enough people for it to heavily affect business.
Plus, the men who would typically use a site like this are often (not always) not very large spenders anyway and are often looking to get the most for the least (aren't we all), so it isn't a demographic many strippers are rushing to get customers from. I only use this site because it's an easy way to find our certain details about a club that you'd normally only learn from visiting, and I like trolling on the discussion boards.
@apieceofsausage True enough in my case. When strippers like me as a regular, it's because I'm consistent money, not their best money.

Just saw the 1st one and I'm liking it so far. Quickly answers WHO (the dancer is), WHERE (club worked at), and WHEN (days,times,and shifts worked) questions. I'm curious if you plan to sort the dancers by alphabetical order of the states they work at. Sorting by order of VIP submission ok with a dozen or so dancers, but could eventually be a pita with 100 plus dancers. (Who says I'm not an optimist.)

I'm for dancer profiles. As a case in point, I still remember the wonderful Skittles from Bottoms Up in Florida. It represents a great way for PLs to acknowledge great dancers, which also promotes the clubs in which they work. Yes - let's do it!

I guess founder is being facetious with me as I see no apparent provision for me to vote on dancer. I'm only inclined to vote on a dancer I've actually seen at a club. I would have upvoted the first dancer.
I would definitely be in favor of reviving dancer profiles. That would encourage more dancers to join chats. Chatting with dancers used to be a very enjoyable part of tuscl.

It is certainly worth a try.
I wish that we had an option to post dancer reviews, but that has a number of challenges associated with it.

I know.... but these comments are "buried" in club reviews. They are searchable but they are not organized by dancer name.
Imagine going into a club for the first time and wondering, who gives a good private dance? Which dancers should I avoid?
A mechanism for organizing and accessing dancer reviews would be a nice feature but it has some problems (how to avoid explicit reviews that might create "problems" for the dancer with management, LEO or even with a boyfriend; how to "police" for false reviews from other dancers or from a disgruntled customer designed to hurt the dancer).
@Electronman There is no way to resolve that situation. Dancers can and do lie about customers just like customers do about dancers- there can be many motives and incentives to do so.
Even if a dancer, perhaps does bbbj on most of her clients, maybe she didnt do it on someone because they were smelly or looked diseased or hairy etc. so she might have 9 reviews mentioning bbbj, one review mentioning no bbbj, which shouldnt be discounted just because it doesnt match the other 9 reviews.
Even restaurants and businesses on google and yelp reviews, have fake reviews or abuse the system to get bad reviews deleted.
There was a discussion thread years back about the Mr Number blacklist app for phone numbers… sex workers used it to leave comments under phone numbers of clients they had seen… some guys found out they had horrible comments written under their numbers and they realized some of the providers they were seeing, would write nonsensical comments in the hopes other provider’s wouldnt let those guys see them and the clients would hopefully give more business to the ladies who left the bad comments.
There is no way to police for it because you cant discount someone’s experience. Plenty of dancers could be nice with some people, not nice to others. Plenty of customers could be nice with some ladies, abusive with others. I believe any sort of policing measures would likely corrupt the reviews process… meaning lets say a dancer gets 8 good reviews and 2 bad ones.. well if we were policing the reviews and assuming the 2 bad ones were fake reviews, that would then give her a 100% positive rating instead of an 80% positive rating.

Don't know if this is practical or not, but maybe after a profile is added, TUSCL members who have the opportunity to see her live in the club could check a box. A few members vouching for her would give further verification that she's not a fake profile. Might even encourage some PLs to get out to the club for dances with her.
@misterorange, and depending on how indiscreet some PLs can be, let's hope the cops don't go there, too.
