Got some great dances yesterday from a young dancer who said a few things that not only amazed me, but made me wonder if I will outlive this country, which is scary to me as I am almost 69. The first thing this mid 2-s dancer said to me that weirded me out was when I tried to explain my job as a divorce lawyer as "hiring someone to have a vicious fight with your long-term partner and she said she had never been in a relationship at all. Why bother, they all end and there is no chance of them lasting. Ok. my 36 years with my wife might contradict that. Then she informs me that America is in trouble and progressives need to be elected to make it more fair. She adds in that America is a terrible place because black people are continually being lynched and that hundreds of thousands had been lynched. After I picked up my jaw from the floor I tried to explain that the total estimate of all people lynched from after the civil war to 1968 was about 4,700 people and that 1,300 of them where white. Tuskegee Institute estimates approximately 3,500 black lynchings. She had no interest, no sources and my guess is she will never come over again. Another quirk? Desires has issues with dancers just charging what they want. She was not one of them but her price list: topless $20; Nude $30; play with breasts $40. This economy is making strippers nutz. They keep upping prices and I keep seeing dancers sitting and earning zilch.

Sounds like a typical liberal to me. All BS stats with no basis in facts. As long as they remain in jobs like stripping and bartending, the nation will be fine. The problems occur when other idiot libs elect those idiot libs to office. The trick is to make all the libs think that voting is pointless and its all rigged so they give up voting, and let us the educated and hard-working conservatives elect the officials who govern our nation. There is something called Cardwell's Law that basically says countries remain innovative for only a short period of time and then go into a decline. I am 70, close to your age, and I see America as a whole past its peak and entering into a decline. When you come to individual states, states not implementing progressive policies will do better and you will see internal migration into those states.
The idea that someone happily married for 36 years is contradictory to strip clubbing makes me laugh. Sex is sex. A relationship is a relationship. We've always been free about sex. However, they will still tell each other how repulsive the MAGA voters in FL, TX, and elsewhere are, bitch endlessly about Trump, Vance, and their policies, and complain about Govs. Abbot and DeSantis and donate to lefties like Talarico and Christ. They may have the business acumen to be million-dollar executives, but they lack the common sense to foresee how voting for the same failed policies from ever-radicalizing leftist politicians will only turn their new homes into the same shitholes as their old homes.
The conservative politicians are not much better, lacking the foresight to see how building business ecosystems to supports liberal industries will cause migration into their states which will vote them out and take their seats (justifiable, but shitty for the current residents). Case in point: Georgia. Georgia very successfully built the southern US Hollywood counterpart and garnered a lot of wins with Marvel, AMC, and more. When they built Hollywood business they brought in Hollywood workers. Hollywood workers brought Hollywood politics. Now a formerly Red state is deep purple, and a complete toss up in any election.
Being a deep purple state is a good, no great and necessary thing. The only thing worse than a politician is a politician who thinks they are a God and can’t lose. Ditto for lawyers too.
