Headed to Vegas. Where should I stay?

Fun pool - Virgin or Flamingo.

Depends if you want on strip or off strip. If you rent a car you have more freedom Some really good properties off strip these days

Might want to avoid the strip though. Seems like a lot of those hotels have some ridiculous resort fees attached. Seem to remember some that are adult-only, too, with a couple being swingers resorts.

Try the Rio. Often over looked but big newly renovated rooms, all the amenities at half the price and now a Hyatt property

The pool at the Hard Rock used to be the place to be - but it’s been a minute since I’ve been in Vegas. But since you’re bringing your own, it doesn’t really matter where you’re staying.

Palazzo: nice big rooms (772 sq. ft), classy pool.

Mandalay Bay has an amazing pool/water area, but more kids.

Mandalay Bay has a great pool, very large, 4 pools, lazy river, big wave pool. The old Hard Rock, now Virgin Hotel, has a good pool, Park MGM also has a nice pool, little more relaxing.

off the strip, Red Rocks has a great pool area.

I was going to suggest either The M or Durango for off strip. Both have great pools. On strip probably Mandalay Bay for pricing. Don’t overlook Circa downtown with one of the best pools in Vegas

Now, Baristafan needs to find out if he & his stripper girl at their hotel will be on the top floor for viewing Vegas or on the bottom for walking out with convenience, I would have to choose the bottom floor rooms coz I smoke, so going outside would be convenient & more convenient for the pool or walking.

Some hotels have Penthouse Suits on the roof top decks with pool, now that would be nice as well if you wanna spend the money for it, let us know where you land around at Vegas when you go cruisin' with that rental car.

M Resort. Haven’t heard that one in a long time. Beautiful resort but man that’s way out there. I stayed there once and it’s just too far out.

I go to Vegas several times a year and have stayed in over 20 hotels on the strip. First, join all of their reward programs. You'll then start receiving e-mails with offers on deals for rooms (including some with free nights). And you don't have to be a degenerate gambler to get them.
