We're a couple and occasional visitor to Art Cinema. For those unfamiliar, Art is an XXX cinema allowing full on site public sex play in the main cinema and on a semi private balcony.
In the past there was a pretty strictly enforced no P4P policy, even enforced by roving ushers on occasion. My girl has arranged P4P there, but met clients outside and entered with them giving them access to the couples only balcony. I personally love this arrangement because I can enter a few minutes later and voyeur some of the action.
After completing her most recent assignment as described above, she met me on the main floor, got naked and started giving me a public workout. It was a quiet afternoon but another patron soon changed seats to be nearly next to our action, which is very much normal. What was out of the ordinary is that the first words he uttered were "how much". This took us by surprise because no one has ever been so blatant about P4P in the cinema. She ended up with some bonus pay that afternoon.
Which leads to my question. Has Art relaxed their enforcement of "no P4P"? Is it becoming a reliable place for P4P? It's a long drive from where we will be spending the summer, but we may look for excuses to go to the Hartford area if it's becoming more of a P4P place.

@skibum609 there can absolutely be crossover with swingers being sex workers. In fact it could even be a way for sex workers to get business. Things have always been that way and will be that way as long as prostitution is illegal.
I knew a guy who would go to swinger clubs with sex workers he was paying. They were just pretending to be his girlfriend.

When you look at at their website ( theartcinema.com ), they never even clearly hint it's more a sex/swingers club, rather than just a dirty movie theater. If they're relying on word of mouth, it's to be expected someone might not have heard the part about not negotiating P4P after you get there.
Haha! I looked it up too. From the website, it just looks like a grand old theater that shows dirty movies, with a "couples balcony" where other stuff goes on, if you have a date.
Occasionally, somebody posts about Berlin News Agency in South Jersey which seems to have elements of a sex club. Not my scene. The one-on-one sex in a private room at Carnival in Brooklawn, NJ is sordid enough for me. If I hire an escort, the last thing I want to do is have sex with her in public.
@Manuellabore The primary activity at an XXX theater is a bunch of guys giving themselves a rub while watching an XXX movie. This also describes 95% of the clientele activity at Art Cinema. It's not a huge leap to go from stroking yourself in public to having one of the few women who appear on the ground floor climb onto your already exposed dick.
It's unfortunate that establishments like Art Cinema aren't listed on this site. As an FYI another similar establishment is Cinema 309 in Wilkes Barre PA, conveniently located on interstate 81, an major north-south artery.
As far as Art being a swinger club, it really isn't. Most swinger clubs have private rooms and there really isn't a private area at the Art. The only "privacy" you get on the balcony are fewer single male voyeurs. All the couples get a great view of whatever you're up to.
Art is primarily a place for voyeurs and those who want to be voyeured. Not for everyone, I guess.
