I would wanna try Geisha House, it's like an adult message parlor, they a lil' diff than a strip club but adult services is provided, pretty rare but nice marketing idea!

There were a couple or more in downtown Philly that I went to in about 1972. Porn had just gone public with Deep Throat leading the way. I must have seen it but don't remember. I do remember that I thought I was going to shoot a load in my pants just watching. There were also bars with "b" girls somewhere downtown. I heard of them when Police Commissioner Frank Rizzo raided them.

Back in the late 60's my best friend owned one in Orange County CA. His cross town rival was the Mitchell Brothers Theatre. His theatre was a mom and pop type operation. It had a balcony that was closed to all except his friends. He showed hard core films except when the police were on his ass. Then he would switch to soft porn. Fortunately the police were more interested in his competition.

We had many parties in the balcony with as many as 20 guys and gals. Drinking and smoking pot. He eventually got shut down.

I think I will check one out this week.

Yeah, maybe 40 years ago. Now ? There is so much free porn on the internet, why go to some filthy theatre ?

Not an adult theater but where I grew up there was a couple of drive ins that showed adult movies after 10. One of them backed up to my high school. On more than one occasion we’d get back from road games and drive to the edge of the fence that faced the screen. Tune the radio to the correct AM station and enjoy the show.
