I made a trip in last week on Memorial Day and one in April and both times, the ficha drinks in Chicago went up to $11.50 (only 0.50 raise). Yet this last trip, I ordered a Diet Coke (Coca Light) and it was $5.50. I used to think it was $4.00. With inflation but especially with the weak dollar (17:1) the $0.50 increase makes sense yet the Diet Coke jump seems steep. I understand the context we are only talking a 0.50 to $1.50 more but TJ board is slow so just relay the facts.
Now with that said, I was with a TUSCL vet ordering beesr on the April trip and again last week in May with another TUSCL vet and BT guy beers were only $4 I believe. So with inflation and weak dollar, BT was asking for less. I believe it used to be $5 and some nights even $6 like HK if memory serves but honestly I don't care to track these prices too much so I just don't know when was what. Now maybe the $4 rate was because both trips were on Monday and Tuesday nights, not sure.

I rarely ever buy a beer but I think that hong kong is charging six dollars a beer presently however they do have a promotion on Wednesday for three dollar beer. I usually get my free drink (pineapple juice with a shot of Don Julio 70) with my VIP card and use the website coupons for 2for1 Price. afterwards. make sure to tip the courtesy desk guy a dollar and likewise the mesero.
