Most cocaine comes from Bolivia and Columbia and most fentanyl comes from Mexico, yet we are trying to topple the leader in Venezuela. Trump has accused this individual of being involved in the drug trade while at the same time he recently pardoned the former Honduran president serving time in prison for being involved in that same drug trade.

The drug issue is really just a smokescreen for us engaging in old fashioned imperialism and trying to grab Venezuelan oil reserves. The optics of this looks really bad. The Monroe doctrine was originally meant to keep European powers from intervening in Latin American countries. It was not meant to allow us to intervene and engage in what is more or less us stealing their natural resources.

Tunnel from Russia to Alaska. Interesting, hadn't heard that one. Since September, I've been all over the country for dog shows (I live in Colorado: Topeka, Syracuse, Philly, St Louis 2 times, Orlando) and I get a tad behind on stuff. I need to look at that one.

This was about shoving Russia and the CCP out of our hemisphere, and suggesting the South American countries to move from The Dark Side to become strong and fair economic traders with the USA.

Why is it "our" hemisphere, when most of the people in the Western Hemisphere don't live in the US?
